Icy days off

For the third or forth time this winter, Central North Carolina was stymied by a winter ice storm. Without much equipment to deal with snow and ice, this usually leads to massive school, activity, and work closings. This was also the first time that I didn't make it in for any portion of the work day.

My day, therefore, consisted of watching mid-day television shows, playing Risk with my wife, and making turkey Reubens for lunch. All of this, mind you, was undertaken with severe disregard to usual work attire. In other words, I wore my flannel pajama pants and my favorite sweatshirt.
