It's my last day of work at GVSU in the Academic Resources and Special Programs Division. I've worked in the division for the better part of five years. I've been a tutor, a receptionist, a webmaster, a technology and software trainer, and a textbook scanning co-ordinator. It seems like a long time and it was. I didn't feel like I was leaving until I strolled in; slightly late as usual. I had walked through this building almost everyday for the last five years of university education and employment. And now, I won't be here again for quite some time if at all. I've often felt that Grand Valley could take a long walk off of a short peer. But, I'm somewhat nostalgic about the place. I didn't expect that in the least. I'm not going to see the friendly coworkers any longer. I'm not going to see many of my friends any longer. Certainly, I will see them with far too infrequently. Sadness is the only descriptor that comes to mind.
On to North Caronlina …
